Student & Education Tools

20 tools for the parts of student life that involve a calculation: what grade you need, how a retake changes your average, whether you can still hit attendance, and how to plan a term around all of it.

Most of these started as a single request — a student who needed to know exactly what score they needed on a final, or how a dropped course would move their GPA. Grading scales vary by school, so each calculator states the scale it uses (usually the standard 4.0 scale) rather than assuming yours matches; where schools commonly differ, like GPA vs CGPA, we've kept both as separate tools instead of one confusing combined one.

Everything below runs in your browser. Nothing you enter — grades, course names, budgets — is sent to or stored on a server.

Frequently asked

What's the difference between GPA and CGPA?

GPA is your grade point average for a single term. CGPA is the cumulative average across every term you've completed so far. Use the GPA Calculator for one term's grades, and the CGPA Calculator to combine terms.

Will these match my school's exact grading scale?

Each calculator states the scale it uses, usually the standard US 4.0 scale. If your school uses a different scale or different grade-point values, the credit-weighted method still applies — check your school's own conversion table for the point values to use.

Do I need an account to save my results?

No. Nothing here requires signup, and nothing you enter is stored on a server — results only exist in your browser for that session.
