Attendance Calculator

Enter your total classes, classes attended, and your required attendance percentage — get an exact number of classes you can still miss, or need to attend.

— Enter your numbers, then calculate.

How it's calculated

If you're already at or above your target, the calculator finds the largest number of additional classes you can miss while your attended-over-total ratio stays at or above the target: attended × 100 ÷ target − total, rounded down.

If you're below target, it finds how many classes in a row you'd need to attend to reach it: (target × total − 100 × attended) ÷ (100 − target), rounded up.

Frequently asked

How is the "classes you can miss" number calculated?

It finds the largest number of additional classes you can have on the schedule (without attending them) while your attended-over-total ratio stays at or above your target percentage.

What if my school uses a different attendance rule, like per-subject minimums?

This calculator works on one total-vs-attended ratio. If your school tracks attendance separately per subject, run the numbers for each subject separately using its own total and attended counts.
