Our approach
Curious Assistant is a set of browser-based tools. We don't host user uploads: files you open in a tool are processed on your own device and never stored by us. Even so, if you believe content published on this site, such as text, images or code, infringes your copyright, please contact us.
How to file a notice
Email hello@curiousassistant.com with the subject line "Copyright notice" and include:
- Your name, address, phone number and email address.
- A description of the copyrighted work you say has been infringed.
- The exact URL(s) on this site where the material appears.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use isn't authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act for them.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Notices that are incomplete may delay our response.
What happens next
When we receive a valid notice we will review it promptly and, where appropriate, remove or disable access to the material. We may pass a copy of the notice to the person responsible for the content, and the notice may be shared with them.
Counter-notice
If you believe material was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the same address with your contact details, the URL of the removed material, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief it was removed in error, and your signature. We may restore the material unless the original complainant tells us they have started legal action.
Misrepresentation
Knowingly submitting a false notice or counter-notice can carry legal liability, so please make sure your claim is accurate.
Repeat infringers
Where appropriate, we'll act against anyone found to be a repeat infringer.
