Open Graph Generator
Fill in your page details to generate the og: and twitter: tags that control how your link looks when shared.
Why these tags matter
Without Open Graph tags, social platforms guess at a title, description and image from your page content — often badly. These tags give you direct control over how a shared link looks on Facebook, LinkedIn, Slack and similar platforms. Twitter/X reads its own twitter: tags, which is why both are generated together.
The recommended Open Graph image size is 1200×630 pixels for the sharpest preview across platforms.
Frequently asked
Why is my shared link not showing the new image?
Most platforms cache a page's preview the first time it's shared, sometimes for days. After changing og:image, use each platform's own debugging/cache-clearing tool (Facebook Sharing Debugger, for example) to force a refresh.
Do I need both Open Graph and Twitter Card tags?
For best coverage, yes — Twitter/X primarily reads its own twitter: tags, while most other platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Slack, Discord) read Open Graph. The generator includes both.
