Wedding Planner Tools
Two small planners for the early decisions: how to divide a budget across the big categories, and how many tables your guest list needs.

How it works
The default split is a common rule of thumb, not a rule: venue and catering together usually take about half the budget. Edit any percentage and the amounts update. The allocation line turns red until your shares add up to exactly 100%, so you can see what's over or unallocated.
Tables are ceil((guests − head table seats) ÷ seats per table). Round tables commonly seat 8 or 10, and a rectangular table seats more or fewer depending on its length, so use your venue's actual layout.
Frequently asked
Are the default percentages what a wedding should cost?
No. They are a starting point based on typical splits. Costs vary widely by country, season and guest count, so adjust them to match real quotes. The 'Buffer' line is there because most weddings run over somewhere.
Is anything saved?
No. The numbers stay on the page and reset when you reload it, so note down your final split.
Which currency does it use?
Any. It only divides the number you enter.
