How it works
Each letter, digit, and common punctuation mark converts to its standard International Morse Code pattern. Letters within a word are separated by a single space; words are separated by " / ". Converting Morse back to text expects the same format.
Frequently asked
What format does Morse-to-text expect?
Dots and dashes for each letter separated by spaces, with a forward slash (surrounded by spaces) between words — the same format this tool produces when converting text to Morse, so round-tripping works directly.
What happens if a Morse code isn't recognized?
It's skipped, and the unrecognized codes are listed in the status message so you can spot a typo rather than silently getting a wrong result.
